Discover The Heart Of Kookaburra Early Learning

Since 2013, Kookaburra Early Learning Centre has been a warm, welcoming space where kids from six weeks to five years old thrive. With open doors, familiar faces and directors Tania and Naomi always up for a chat, we ensure every child receives nurturing care while parents experience complete peace of mind.

We’re honoured to be recognised with awards for service, sustainability and excellence in early education — but our proudest achievement is the trust families place in us every day.

A Few Things Families Often Ask Us

Considering Kookaburra for your child? We’re delighted you’re exploring our centre as an option! Here are some common questions we receive and their answers to help you get a better understanding of what we’re all about.
1. Are you involved with the local community?

We sure are! We believe in fostering strong community ties right here in Casino. We run regular excursions to local attractions, partner with local schools and businesses, and even connect with senior citizens for enriching intergenerational learning programs that benefit everyone.

Our children actively participate in gardening, composting and recycling initiatives. Through these hands-on projects led by our sustainability coordinator, they learn invaluable lessons about caring for our planet and protecting our beautiful Casino environment for future generations.

As a 100-place centre, we maintain strong staff-to-child ratios that not only meet but often exceed the national standards. This allows us to offer more personalised care, meaningful interactions and closer supervision. Our spacious, well-equipped facilities support a calm, engaging environment where every child can flourish under the attentive care of our dedicated educators.
