It’s natural to have questions when choosing the perfect early learning environment for your child. Whether this is your family’s first step into childcare or you’re simply clarifying the finer points of our Kookaburra experience, we’ve gathered answers to the most common queries from Casino families.

1. What’s included in the fees?

Your daily fee includes up to 12 hours of care, all nappies, wipes, and hygiene items, plus nutritious Munch & Move approved meals and snacks (excluding breakfast). We cater to all allergies, cultural diets, and special requirements. Just chat with our friendly cook.

Also included are a gifted Kookaburra hat and t-shirt on enrolment, access to our real-time Xplor app, and participation in our full curriculum of age-appropriate programs. These include nature play in Suzy’s Gardening Club, local excursions through our Bus-a-Bout program, and school readiness activities. Everything is delivered by our consistent, qualified team in a safe and nurturing environment.

2. How do I organise a tour?

We’d love to show you around, introduce you to the team, and answer any questions you’ve got. Just give our director a call on (02) 6662 5422, or shoot us an email to book a time that suits.

3. Are you open on public holidays?

We’re open almost every weekday of the year but we do close for the gazetted public holidays.

4. Do I pay for the hours my child attends?

Like most other centres across Australia, our daily fee covers a full 12 hours of care, whether your little one is with us for a few hours or the whole day.

5. My child has allergies, can you cater for that?

Absolutely! We take allergies and dietary needs very seriously. All you need to do is provide us with a doctor’s letter or action plan, and we’ll tailor everything accordingly. Our cook is brilliant at whipping up allergy-friendly meals that are still nutritious and tasty. You’re also always welcome to chat directly with our cook if you have ongoing concerns.

6. Does my child need to be immunised?

Yes, in line with government guidelines, your child must be up to date with immunisations to attend childcare. When you enrol, just bring along your child’s Medicare immunisation certificate, and we’ll handle the rest.
