Emily has been an integral part of the Kookaburra Early Learning Centre team for the past two years, bringing dedication and enthusiasm to her role as an Early Childhood Educator. She holds a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care and is also the centre’s First Aid Officer, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in her care.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Nursing at Southern Cross University in Lismore, Emily is passionate about fostering both the physical and emotional development of young children. Her nurturing approach and commitment to continuous learning make her a valued member of the team.
When she’s not studying or at work, Emily loves spending time at the beach—whether she’s catching waves or relaxing with a good book in the sun. Her favourite quote, “You just gotta keep livin’ man… L-I-V-I-N” by Matthew McConaughey, reflects her positive, easy-going outlook on life.
Born on 27th August, Emily shares her birthday with Anne Marie d’Orléans, Queen of Sardinia, who was known for her dedication to her role and contributions to society. Much like Anne Marie’s devotion to her people, Emily is committed to nurturing and caring for the children, ensuring they feel valued and supported in their learning journey.
